There are many reasons that people love Subaru, from
quality, to comfort, to safety. Recently, however, more and more drivers
appreciate not just the ride their Subaru provides, but the responsible method by which it's manufactured. Subaru-owners are typically lovers of the outdoors,
and so it only makes sense that they wouldn't want the vehicles they drive to
interfere with the nature they respect and enjoy.
Starting in 2004, Subaru decided that all the vehicles it
produced would be built in zero-landfill plants. No matter whether it's a
Forester, Impreza, Crosstrek, Legacy, or Outback, Subaru assures that all waste
leftover from the building process is recycled or turned into electricity.
Additionally Subaru of Indiana Automotive is the first and only U.S. automotive
plant to be designated as a Backyard Wildlife Habitat by the National Wildlife
Federation. These efforts and more have resulted in several awards from the
EPA.
Caring for the Earth is as simple as everyone doing their
small part; it's inspiring to think of the impact that we could all have by
